Observation Details

The "Auswahlfeld" is using role="combobox", making the element a dropdown list. The dropdown list has limited keyboard accessibility. Observations:

  • Dropdown cannot be opened by

    • ALT+DOWN ARROW

    • UP/DOWN ARROW

    • Text input

  • Dropdown cannot be closed by

    • ALT+UP ARROW

    • ENTER

    • TAB

    • (Mouse click on triggering element)

  • Selecting list item and closing dropdown via ESC, keyboard focus is moved away from triggering element

  • Selection of list items not possible by

    • UP ARROW, DOWN ARROW

    • POS1, END

    • PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN

    • Entry of one or more characters (within a short time)
